Tama ako Malaysia!

            Indeed Tama ako Malaysia in thingking that I will not return to Malaysia.  Here for the second time account year 2022 to be exact.

           We were so happy.  Why not, we have a free room and we have a team.  We also visited lot of places. 

               It was fun!

Malaysia Revisited for the 3rd Time

 

                   Yes, I am here again in Malaysia!

                 I started visiting this beautiful country since 2019 to play Team Chess.  I must admit that I was very disappointed at that time as I was not included in my supposed chess team which we planned in Iloilo 2 months before the event. Good thing I was able to find a team together with my twin brother Joselito and as a bonus I was crowned Bronze Medalist for Board 2!  Yey!

               This time around, Jocel, as my brother is pondly called, has a youtube friend Marie who is a resident and we visited a lot of place!  Sad thing we were not able to visit Genting as we were not aware of our chess schedule.  We thought that the chess game will start at 9:00AM only to find our that it will be at 3:00PM.  Missed oppurtunity there, huh!

                  There were a lot of places we visited. Sadly I can not post it on my FB and Instagram because I am a government employee.  I was reminded by my wife to "off-load" my posts as it is not a good idea to posts prosperity photos even though no government funds are involved.

Erona Beach Resort

               Erona Beach Resort is located in Calintaan, Occidental Mindoro.

              It is located in I think "secluded" place that is what is more exciting.  Our purpose of visiting the place is for a chess tournament.  It was the first time that a tournament was held in a beach here under the auspices of Occidental Mindoro Chess Academy, Inc.

Dante R. Teano FIDE Rated Tournament

                 Yesterday marked another special day for OMCA,  More than 80 enthusiast played the game we love at Erona Beach Resort.  It was a new venue and exciting one as it is located in the beach!  How I wish that it was held on a Saturday so we can enjoy the sea.

                There were many challenges though:    

1. The venue is not conjusive to tournament.

2. The lightings were a little bit off

3.  There were no foods to buy during breaks as pointed our by our participant

                There were lots to expect like:

1.  The Resort is secluded but beautiful.

2.  The rent of cottage and rooms are cheap!

3.  There is vediokeeeeeeeeeee! 

                I did not expect that there will be 80 plus participants! Hurray!

    

                    

Sikatuna Beach Resort

          I think it was in 2014 when I first saw this hotel by the beach.  Back then it was cool but now i needs refurbishing.  Went there for our monthly meeting.  We made it a point to try every restaurant every monthly meeting. It was fun!

                      Tried this one here for the first time in Sikatuna Beach Resort!

I was delicious! Occidental Mindoro known for abundant seeas,  It is no wonder when Tuna and alike are available.  Unlike in Oriental where I am from where prize catch is being sent to Manila.

            I am continuing our tradition in UCPB Batangas Branch where we go in every restaurant every time we have a meeting.  This time we conducted our meeting in the branch and went to Sikatuna Beach Resort!

          Happy birthday to our baby staff Lu Justin.  I can so his happiness by the not so surprised activity.  Dream all you can and do all you can to succeed!

Stress Releaver

 

                 Isdaan has many features,  One of which is this one,  You will throw with all your might the plates, cups etc.  Indeed, my stresses were released!

                   I have never been to Thailand yet but based on the narration of my friends who went there it mimics the features of Isdaan,  

                  It is a pleasure to be in Isdaan!  My stresses were released intanly,  The food were insane!

                 Those where the days!  Those were the days, really!  

            How can I forget those days?  After UCPB  christmas party breakfast, we went directly to Isdaan, Calauan, Laguna.  It was a well planned trip to celebrate also the birthday of one of my staff.  I must admit this was the second time but this time was sweeter!

                 I must admit I did not see the beauty before.  Perhaps our focus then was to eat not to explore the details of the place.

                 It was truly majestic!  It is the Thailand of the Philippines because of their Buddas.  Was told by Marites that it was owned by a celebrity married to a senator.

   

Paglalakbay sa El Nido!

              Nothing can compare the experiences we had in El Nido, Palawan.  We did Island hopping, swimming, bar hopping etc.

                  The activity was provided to us by our BM as our share in the money received from CASA and other awards!

                  It was fun!

              Family is everything!

           It was a wonderful experience to be with your family who are still so very young.  I don't know what will I do if something will happen if I will not be around.  I was a family decision to contunue the journey to Hongkong despite Mama will be buried.  I know Mama will allow us if she was alive, thus, we push trought with the plan.
